According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Commerce, last week (December 12 to 18), the national edible agricultural product market price index rose 0.5% from the previous week, and the production material market price index rose 2% from the previous week.

In the market of means of production: the price of steel increased by 3.7% over the previous week, among which the prices of equilateral angle steel, channel steel, rebar, and high-speed wire rod increased by 5.2%, 4.7%, 4.1% and 4% respectively. The price of rubber rose by 3.6%, of which the prices of natural rubber and synthetic rubber rose by 4.4% and 2.7% respectively. The price of basic chemical raw materials rose by 2.1%, of which the prices of methanol, pure benzene, soda ash, sulfuric acid and caustic soda rose by 3.5%, 2.9%, 2.3%, 1.7% and 1.4% respectively. The price of coal rose by 0.5%, of which the prices of anthracite, thermal coal and coking coal rose by 0.6%, 0.5% and 0.5% respectively. The price of chemical fertilizers rose by 0.5%, among which the prices of urea, ternary compound fertilizer, potassium chloride and diammonium phosphate rose by 0.9%, 0.3%, 0.2% and 0.2% respectively. The price of non-ferrous metals fell by 0.5%, of which the prices of aluminum and copper fell by 2.4% and 0.2%, the prices of tin, zinc, and nickel rose by 3.5%, 1.1% and 0.3%, respectively, and the price of lead remained unchanged from the previous week.
